Over the years, I’ve learned that our bodies are meant to change as we do, and that I’m still valuable whether I’m carrying 15 extra pounds or not. My worth isn’t tied to the size of my pants, and neither is yours.

The investment in a session isn’t just for pretty pictures of yourself. It empowers you to live unapologetically, and the confidence that you gain from a session is something that you can’t put a price tag on.

Whether absolutely necessary or just a nice addition, there’s a handful of those not-so-glamorous things that you’ll want to bring that aren’t always at the top of mind when preparing, but you’ll be so happy you brought them!

When this babe booked her session, we had never met before. We had some mutual friends, and in the months leading up to her session we shared drinks and laughs and got to know each other through game nights with those mutual friends (who are also habitual clients of mine!) which was so nice!!

I know that preparing for your session can be overwhelming, which is why I created an extensive prep guide for my clients! Here are some of my best tips for how to prepare the day of your session. I already know you’re gonna rock it!

So many times in the past my own excuses and negative self talk has held me back and stopped me from doing things I want to do, but this is me promising to do the hard things, to be vulnerable when I feel able to, and to show up and work on myself too.

Our outward beauty isn’t our currency for existing in the world, and in my studio, there’s no beauty fee. You can show up full glam or completely natural, and you’ll be celebrated, supported, and loved equally.
