From Client to Friend β€” Evansville Indiana Boudoir Photographer

When this babe booked her session, we had never met before.

We had some mutual friends, and I was super excited to get to meet her and celebrate her in the studio. In the months between the time she booked and the date of her session, we shared drinks and laughs and got to know each other through game nights with those mutual friends (who are also habitual clients of mine!) which was so nice!

So the day that she stepped in the doors of the studio, it didn’t feel like a stranger was walking in. It felt like I was getting to hang out with an old friend. She was a little nervous about outfits beforehand, but we talked about it all during her consult call and I did my best to make sure she felt confident about her choices. I also try to be super open about the experience and offer as transparent a look at what to expect as possible – and if you’re also wondering how you’ll feel comfortable in front of the camera, you can check out this blog post I wrote a few months ago here!

Ultimately, we had the best time during her session and the image reveal was even better. Looking at your photos an hour after your session is over is so so so rewarding! You can keep scrolling to see some of her favorite photos from her session, AND read a little more about her experience from her perspective!

Why did you choose *me* to capture your boudoir session?

(Before I knew you) I had only heard incredible things about how comfortable you made everyone feel. I looked at other -cheaper- boudoir photographers from the area when I got some interest but… let’s face it, the photos looked cheaper. So I booked! Then I got to know you and knew it was the right choice.

What were the biggest questions you had before your session?

All internal on my endβ€” Do I own outfits I’d feel good in? What if I hate the final images?

How did Ellie make you feel throughout the process?

I was really impressed with the amount of communication and advice leading up the shoot. I felt prepared and understood what would be happening before I even got there. The shoot was super comfortable, especially after the first few photos were taken. I felt like a rockstar at the photo reveal

How has this boudoir experience impacted you?

I’ve told so many people they need to do it. Not necessarily for anyone else but themselves to look back and see how incredible they look in their own clothes and bodies.

Was the experience worth the financial investment that you made?

It was! That was the most difficult part for me, but once I saw the photos back it was hard to keep selection under control.

What would you say to a friend who's on the fence about doing a session with me?

I’d just simply show them my images. Anyone who has expressed interest but are held back I’ve shown my own shoot and have told them how not-awkward it is.

Did you enjoy this post?

I would love to have you in the studio so you can have an experience like this for yourself! Whether you’re all in and ready to go, need some more info before we get started, or are on the fence and want to talk things through before you commit – I’m here for ya! Click here to get in touch!
