I document the day as it actually unfolds, and will step in when a little direction will make the experience easier. I’ll wrangle your family for formal portraits and will guide you through sunset photos so you don’t have to wonder what to do with your hands.

We'll hang out, take some pictures, figure out how you two naturally interact, and you’ll get comfortable with me and the camera before the big day. And by the time your wedding day rolls around, it’ll feel less like “photographer we hired” and more “Ellie, our professional third wheel who we’ve been hanging out with for months”

Sessions take place Monday thru Friday within 40 miles of Evansville, IN. One Saturday per month available with additional $100 weekend fee.
If you aren’t a wedding client but still want me to take your engagement photos or capture your proposal, the session fee is $499!

First thing’s first: let me know you’re getting married!! You’ll fill out the contact form to give me some basic info about your big day, and I'll be in touch within 48 hours via email!

We’ll get on the phone to talk about your dreams for your wedding day. If we both feel like it’s a good fit, then we’ll make it official! A signed contract and $1000 retainer secures your date.

We’ll kick off by planning your engagement session to celebrate! We’ll choose a location that you love and spend about an hour together on a date while I third wheel with my camera. You’ll have a gallery back within two weeks!

The biggest to-do on our list is planning your big day. I’ll help you with the timeline, will send some questionnaires to make sure I’m prepared, and am always available for any q’s throughout the process as we gear up for your wedding!

How far in advance should we book?
I take on a limited number of weddings each year in order to give you the best experience possible. For that reason, I’d encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later to secure your date!
We’re awkward in front of the camera. Will you help us pose?
If I had a dollar for every time I heard “I’m not photogenic,” you wouldn’t be reading this right now, lol. YES, I’ll guide you through with simple, natural posing prompts so you never feel awkward or unsure. My goal is to document the day as it unfolds, but I’ll never leave you hanging when it comes to what to do with your hands in portrits.
Our wedding isn’t local; do you travel?
Absolutely! My passport is up to date and I love to travel. Any weddings or engagement sessions further than 40 miles from Evansville, IN will incur an additional travel fee, calculated on a case by case basis.
Can we give you a list of must-have shots?
I’ll help you create a specific shot list for the formal family photos, and I’ll ask you what you’re most looking forward to seeing in your gallery and keep that in mind as I document your day! I find that a structured shot list (especially from Pinterest) curbs creativity and presence in the moment and doesn’t allow for the best documentation of your wedding day.
How do we print our photos once we receive them?
You and your family will be able to order professional quality prints directly through your online gallery to make your life that much easier! You can also order a custom layflat album through me if you’d like album design taken care of for you as well. (One of my fav things to do for you!)
We’re having a micro-wedding and don’t need a full 8 hours of photography. Is that an option?
Of course! Your wedding day should be whatever you want it to be. Just let me know on the contact form that you’re having a more intimate celebration and I’ll send you a custom booking proposal. Micro-weddings and elopements are generally in the $2000 range.
How much editing do you do?
I keep things real. I’ll edit for lighting and color and remove any background distractions, but I won’t do much more than that. I believe real photos are better than digitally perfected ones.
Can we add more hours of coverage later on?
Of course! You can add up to 4 additional hours of coverage. I know as the day gets closer, timelines can shift and we can adjust before the big day. If you need more hours of coverage on the day of, I’m flexible and happy to stay longer! You’ll receive an invoice for the extra time afterwards, no big deal.
How many photos will we receive?
For an 8 hour wedding day, you can expect anywhere from 300-600 images in your final gallery. I include all of them in color, with a curated selection in black and white as well!
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! A $1000 retainer is due upon booking to secure your date on my calendar. The remaining balance is due 60 days before your wedding, and we can divide that balance into up to 10 monthly payments. If you’d like to set up a payment plan, let me know on our connection call and we’ll talk specifics!

More About Your Wedding Photographer
Sure I'm a photographer, but I'm also the person who's going to spend eight hours with you, your family, your friends, and probably your drunk uncle.
I treat people like we're already friends, which tends to make the whole "stranger with a camera" thing disappear pretty quickly. And not to toot my own horn, but I'm good at reading a room. I know when you need direction and when you need me to be a fly on the wall.
And I care a lot about creating photos that are beautiful without asking you to become someone you're not.
