Summer 2022 at Eleanor Elaine Photography – Evansville Indiana Boudoir Photographer
The PSL is here and Summer is almost over! 🍂
If you're a summer lover, I'm sorry to remind you that fall is coming soon. I'm definitely an autumn kinda gal, so seeing pumpkin spice everything back again gets me feeling all kinds of giddy. I had my first pumpkin spice cold brew last week at Honey Moon Coffee Co. and it was soooo good! It just reminded me how ready I am for crunchy leaves, all the sweaters, and one million more pumpkin cream cold brews!! Yes, even when it's cold you can catch me with an iced drink in hand. I know what I’m about.
Before I dive into the business side of the last few months, I wanna share the real life stuff too. It’s really important to me to be as transparent as I can be!
Dylan and I started wedding planning after getting engaged at the end of May!
celebrated my nephew’s 2nd birthday
started learning embroidery (because I love a hobby)
Dylan and I went on our first vacay together (with his family) to Maryland and Washington DC – and returned home to part of our laundry room ceiling on the floor 🙃
I found a wedding dress!!
started learning how to longboard (again, I love a hobby)
Anyway, let’s get into this lil recap of what's been going on around here this summer, starting with a few blog posts!
When this babe booked her session, we had never met before. We had some mutual friends, and in the months leading up to her session we shared drinks and laughs and got to know each other through game nights with those mutual friends which was so nice!!

I get asked about model releases all the time!! I think transparency is super important, and I want to get into the nitty gritty of choosing whether or not to sign a release. What they are, what it means if you choose to sign one, if they’re required, and more!
Learn about it here!
This babe took the leap to connect with herself and learn how to love herself again, and one part of that journey was booking a boudoir session with me! After her session was over, she was gushing about her experience and had so many nice things to say about herself.
Read her story here!
It goes beyond captivating photos, it’s the whole experience. A boudoir session with me is three hours where you’re the main character and you’re celebrated purely for existing. How does that sound?
Dig into it here!
Next, I’ve gotta celebrate the babes who had sessions this summer, and share a few of their gorgeous photos!
I photographed eleven stunning boudoir clients this summer, and I'm so so thankful to each one of them who trusted me to be their photographer! I had quite a few brides in the studio this season in preparation for their fall and winter weddings. Gifting a boudoir album to your new spouse on your wedding day is such an intimate, thoughtful gift and I feel a lil emotional every time a bride comes in for her session. It feels really special to get to celebrate that new chapter and be a part of it in a small way. Anywayyyy –
From those eleven sessions I had, I wanna share one of my favorite photos from each client who signed a model release! None of these stunners are bridal clients (I’ll be sharing some of those soon, once the newlyweds share their photos with their new spouses!)
Now, I’d love to share some updates and a bit about what’s coming up through the end of the year! It feels so wild that we’re in the back half of 2022 already.
Going into the fall, the studio may be changing a little bit! One of our studiomates who we share the space with is moving out, so there will be some reconfiguring of the furniture and reorganizing of things. I’m really excited to see how the space evolves! There’s one bit that I’m most excited for – there’s an old fireplace that’s been hiding that we’re really stoked to clean up and show off! I’m already picturing the photos we’ll take around it and I just cannot wait!!
The studio is so beautiful with the original flooring, character in the crown molding and incredibly tall windows, and now with this fireplace being shown off I’m just so looking forward to capturing more of what makes our studio so historic and beautiful.
There are a limited number of sessions available through December, and I’d love to see you in the studio!
If you’ve thought about gifting a boudoir album to your honey for Christmas, the latest you’ll want to book is the end of October. With that being said, there’s a small handful of available spots through the end of October so now’s the time to jump on that! I have more spots available in November and December, but I can’t promise a December 25th deadline for those with them being so close to the holidays! I usually take off a couple weeks at the end of the year to be with family, decompress, reflect on the year past, and plan for the year ahead. (which is my favorite part of the year, tbh!) So if you already know you want to get on my books before the end of the year, click the button below to fill out the contact form!
And there are some super fun things coming that I’d love to share with you!!
Firstly, there’s a new album upgrade here that I think you’re gonna love! This just came to the studio this month, so she’s brand spankin’ new. I love the way this looks, and I think you’re gonna be just as obsessed as I am!
Meet the combo cover! 💫
Isn't she so pretty?! This features a glossy metal print made with high quality aluminum, and wrapped with your choice of fabric or leather around the rest! For the studio sample album, I chose a black and white photo to feature on the cover along with the classic black leather, but we can go full color for yours if you want! The metal print is really easy to clean, and won’t scratch up super easily if your’e clumsy like me, lol!
You can upgrade to the combo cover on any of the album sizes that I offer, and I think it adds a nice lil somethin’ somethin’!
And I’m now offering education and support for photographers and creative entrepreneurs!
This is another brand new lil something that I began this month! I get asked all the time for advice and support and expertise, and I love being able to help other creatives live their biggest dreams too. Though, there’s not enough time in the day to let everyone pick my brain. I need it too, ya know? But I started offering two types of supportive and educational sessions for business owners so you can get devoted time to getting all your questions answered and getting all the support you want and need. If you want to know more about those services, you can check out that page here!
What’s in store for November and December?
Closing out 2022 with a bang! In November, I’ll be having my annual Small Business Saturday sale! I’m not a Black Friday kinda gal, and I think it’s really important to consciously support small, local businesses so I always contribute to Small Business Saturday, as well as shopping it myself! I don’t know exactly what I’ll be offering this year, but you can join my email list to be the first to know what’s going down and get early access to this sale!
Maybe the biggest news that I haven’t talked about much yet… but couples boudoir sessions will be coming soon at the end of the year! This is something I’ve gotten more and more inquiries about this year, and I’m really excited to expand boudoir to include couples as well. Since the beginning of my biz, I’ve really preferred to photograph one person at a time and focus entirely on that individual in front of my camera. Since getting engaged though, I can see why someone would want to share that experience with their honey and celebrate their love, and I want to celebrate that with you too!
Summer was really good to me, and I’m looking forward to all that Fall and Winter will bring!
I’m heading to get a lil autumnal drink before going to the studio! Leave a comment below and let me know what your fall drink of choice is so I can try something new!! xo
