There is no “right time” book your boudoir session. It doesn’t exist.

I’m keeping it real, and we’re gonna cut right to the juicy stuff. We aren’t messing around today.

So many people put off doing a boudoir session for “someday”. We’re waiting, endlessly, for the pieces to magically fall into place to do the things we want to do. We’re waiting to lose 15 lbs, we’re waiting for our significant other to propose, we’re waiting for that promotion at work, we’re waiting for the BIG birthday coming up. Waiting and waiting and waiting. Putting off all those things you’re dreaming of doing for that someday to roll along and for it to be the perfect time to do them all.

I’m gonna be real with you: the lie we’re fed that we have to wait until the time is right to do things we want to do is total bullshit.

Can we dream bigger than that? Can we put an end to all that time spent saying ‘no,’ ‘not today,’ and ‘not right now’ and confidently go in the direction of the things we want to fill our lives with? Because alllllll those excuses that we’ve come up with are just holding us back from all those dreams and goals that we want to achieve. Those excuses are putting unnecessary limits on us, on our lives, and on what we’re capable of.

Let me give it to you straight: you are deserving of a session right now as you are just because you want to do it. You don’t have to earn it.

I have clients that come back for two, three, four, even FIVE sessions just because they enjoy it. Because I offer a fun, low stress experience that is something they want to do over and over because it makes them feel good. They keep coming back because they WANT to, and they know that that’s the only reason they need.

You don’t need to have a fiancé to gift your photos to, a birthday to celebrate, or to lose any amount of weight to be deserving of capturing yourself as you are right now. You are entirely deserving and worthy of all the good things just because you exist. You deserve to be documented.

There is nothing you can do to be more deserving or more worthy of the things you want.

I don’t want you to wait, and put off something you want to do for that someday, for whatever achievement or occasion that you’re waiting for that’s just unnecessary. You deserve it. You are worth it. And if I can be honest with you? I believe in the power of investing in yourself, and I hope you do too. Your relationship with yourself is the most important one in your life, and it’s deserving of your time and attention.

I don’t know about you, but I tend to be very intentional about nourishing the other relationships in my life wayyyyyy more than I do my relationship with myself. I hope to learn how to put myself first just like I put my partner first, my best friend first, my family first. I want that for all of us.

You are worth being a priority in your own life.

If embodying that truth can manifest in booking a boudoir session and spending a few uninterrupted hours on yourself with someone who’s only focused on making you feel empowered and beautiful and like the only person in the world, then I think you deserve that. There are no losers when you invest in yourself.
