An Intimate Wedding Gift — Evansville Indiana Boudoir Photographer

Having brides in the boudoir studio is so special to me. It truly means the world that you trust me to document you in this fleeting stage of becoming — being a fiancée only lasts for so long. I know the season of wedding planning can come with a lot of feelings and I’ve heard from a lot of brides that it can be a challenge to prioritize yourself during the process if you’re doing a lot of the planning on your own. There are so many decisions to be made and things to check on the to-do list on top of everyday life that it can be really easy to forget to take care of yourself.

The thing I love most about having brides in the studio is that it’s an uninterrupted hour that’s solely focused on you. You have my full, undivided attention, your phone is in your bag, and our only goal is to make you feel like a queen while creating beautiful photos that you and your soon-to-be spouse can look back on and cherish for years. And obviously I'm a teensy bit biased, but I think giving vulnerable, intimate images of yourself to the person you want to share your life with is such a precious gift.

It's saying — I love you, and I trust you — and I think that's the foundation a marriage should be built on.

Not only do you get to share these beautiful photos with your honey, but you get the bonus of having this incredible experience of caring for yourself in this way in the middle of wedding planning. You get to take home an album that’s been handcrafted with love that will serve as an heirloom of who you were during this time in your life. My hope is that when you’re old and grey, you’ll flip through the pages with your spouse or your kids and grandkids and remember who you were when you were planning your wedding.

Why did you choose to invest in a boudoir session with Eleanor Elaine?

I wanted to do this session first for my now husband as his wedding gift, which he was blown away, by the way! Second, I wanted to do it for myself. To feel empowered and beautiful in a way I've never seen myself.

How did you feel before your session, and what did you do to prepare?

I was a little nervous with being that exposed but also very excited because I knew it would turn out great! I looked at Pinterest A LOT! It really helped me get ideas for my outfits.

How did Eleanor make you feel throughout the process?

Amazing! She showed me pictures throughout the process which gave me that much more confidence. It was nice to have someone showing and telling me how to pose, because I had no idea how to!

What do you feel like you got out of your boudoir session?

My husband LOVED the pictures and I got a whole new level of confidence. I never knew I could look so sexy until having my session.

How has the boudoir experience with Eleanor Elaine impacted you?

It made me feel beautiful and strong! I look back at the pictures and think, "damn, that's me" It's nice to have them to look at whenever I want!

What would you say to someone who's unsure about doing a session?

DO IT! Even if you're nervous, Ellie will walk you through the process step by step. It will allow yourself to see you in a different light!
