Maybe you’re curious about stepping in front of the camera but you’re not ready for a full session. Or maybe you just want a small, meaningful moment to see yourself differently. As I Am Sessions are a simple, low-pressure way to document you exactly as you are, in this moment. These mini sessions are designed for self-connection and authenticity.

Included in every As I Am Session:
30 minutes of shooting time in studio
Full session prep support and gentle guidance throughout
Head to toe posing direction throughout your session
Same day image reveal to select your favorite images
10 digital images of your choosing

Sessions take place Monday thru Friday at my studio in Downtown Evansville. One Saturday per month available with additional $100 weekend fee. Hair and makeup services available at an additional fee.

What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel most like you! The purpose of this session is to document you as you are. If you feel good in it, it’s the right choice. I’m happy to help you narrow it down and decide if you’d rather go for a stripped down boudoir vibe or fully clothed personality portraits
I’m awkward in front of the camera—will you help me pose and tell me what to do?
If I had a dollar for every time I heard “I’m not photogenic,” you wouldn’t be reading this right now, lol. YES, I’ll guide you through the entire shoot with simple, natural posing prompts so you never feel awkward or unsure. My goal is to help you feel comfy and confident every step of the way, and that includes telling you what to do with your hands.
Where do these take place?
These portrait sessions happen in my cozy downtown Evansville studio. We’re located just a block from the Ohio River, and 20 minutes from Evansville Regional Airport.
Are these just for women?
Just like all of my services, these sessions are for anyone who wants to celebrate themselves through intentional, authentic portraits regardless of gender identity.
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup is not included in these sessions and I don’t recommend that you do too much before your As I Am session anyway! The purpose is to capture you as you are, naturally.
How much editing do you do?
I keep things real. I’ll edit in my signature style, but I won’t do any retouching of spots, scrapes, or scars and I’ll never change the shape of your body or remove what makes you uniquely you. I believe in honoring who you are, exactly as you are in this moment.
Can I add more images to my order?
Of course! Your session includes 10 fully edited high res digital images, but you’ll have the option to upgrade during your reveal if you fall in love with more than that (which happens often!)

Before you book, we can have a convo to make sure we're a good fit and talk through what to expect and I'll answer all your questions about the experience!

To secure your session, you’ll choose a date, sign the contract, and pay your $650 retainer. (This retainer can be split into two equal payments of $325 with ½ due upon booking and ½ due two weeks before your session.)
Once those things are taken care of, we're ~official~ and we'll start planning!

Once you secure your session, you'll get a welcome packet in your inbox that includes a style guide!
I share info to make sure you feel prepared and supported every step of the way, but I’m always available for personalized questions and guidance.

You'll arrive at my natural light studio in downtown Evansville for your session, and we’ll get settled and unpack.
The shoot itself is relaxed and collaborative, focusing on you. Just real connection, and a whole lot of "damn, I look good."
Your session includes about 30 minutes of shooting time, and I'll be there to guide you through the whole process – including posing from head to toe!

You’ll return to the studio 30 minutes after your session to view all your unedited photos so you can see the beauty I saw on the other side of the camera.
With a slideshow set to music, I'll excitedly reveal your photos and hold space for you to take them in for the very first time.
I'll help you curate your favorites, with 10 fully edited high res digitals being included with your session, and you'll place your order the same day! You’re welcome to upgrade and add more images to your order at this time!

Once your final payment is made, I'll start the editing process to put my professional polish on your favorite photos! You’ll receive your full order within 6 weeks.
*I do offer rush service if you need your final images back quickly for an additional fee.
