These sessions are a way for you to pause and say, this version of me matters. You don’t need a reason beyond that.
Think of it as a small but meaningful ritual: a way to step into your next year with images that reflect who you are right now—not who you think you’re supposed to be at this age.

What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel most like you! The purpose of this session is to document you as you are. If you feel good in it, it’s the right choice.
I’m awkward in front of the camera—will you help me pose and tell me what to do?
I’ll guide you through the entire shoot with simple, natural posing prompts so you never feel awkward or unsure. My goal is to help you feel comfy and confident every step of the way, and that includes telling you what to do with your hands.
Where do these take place?
These portrait sessions happen in my cozy downtown Evansville studio. We’re located just a block from the Ohio River, and 20 minutes from Evansville Regional Airport.
Does my session have to take place on my actual birthday?
You can schedule a birthday session at any time, but it is extra special when we get to hang out on your real birthday.
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup is always included in the session fee! I’ll handle the scheduling for you with my trusted hair and makeup artist so you get to just show up and feel amazing.
How much editing do you do?
I keep things real. I’ll edit in my signature style, but I won’t do any retouching of spots, scrapes, or scars and I’ll never change the shape of your body or remove what makes you uniquely you. I believe in honoring who you are, exactly as you are in this moment.

90 minutes of shooting time in my private studio
enough time for 3 outfits + a set in the sheets
Professional hair and makeup
30 minute phone call before your session to go over the details
Comprehensive style guide to help you choose what to wear
Head to toe posing guidance throughout your session
Same day image reveal and ordering session
Sessions take place Monday thru Friday at my studio in Downtown Evansville! One Saturday per month available with additional $100 weekend fee. Images and products sold separately.
