I’ve been a photographer since 2017, and I live and run this small biz of mine here in Southern Indiana where I grew up!
When I’m not behind the camera, you’re most likely to find me cup of tea in hand, curled up on the couch with my husband and my cat. I’m always working on a new creative hobby (lately watercolor painting and junk journaling) or playing video games.
You’ll feel right at home here if you love breaking out the goofy dance moves, have an affinity for houseplants, and like being in spaces where you can be your whole weird self!
Why Boudoir?
Though I love taking any photos that help you feel confident and empowered in any aspect of your life, boudoir is my bread and butter.
So can I be real with you about this one? There was a point in time when I wouldn't post on Instagram without photoshopping my body to hell and back. Any perceived imperfection got “fixed” before a photo could be posted. I feel so sad for that version of me who felt so incredibly not enough that she went to those lengths to get a scrap of external validation.
I had been looking up to the wrong role models; people who led me to internalize the idea that appearing perfect is ideal and surrounding myself with images that only showed thin women being sexy and sensual and happy. Too much of this brought me to a place where I felt like I was never good enough.
Changing your mindset starts with small changes, and I’ve made more than a handful since those days. I don’t do any body altering editing to my photos anymore and I follow people on social media who look like me and who talk about their struggles and challenges more openly.
Even though it was hard to go through, these years helped me realize that it was never about my body.
Boudoir helped me realize that I don’t have to alter my appearance to be enough. It made a huge impact on my journey to discovering myself and finding self confidence, and I want that for you too.
Just like I helped myself by adjusting my mindset, I want to support you on your journey with self love too. No matter what you look like, what size pants you wear, how old you are – I want you to know that your body and your sexuality aren’t shameful things. That you are whole exactly as you are.

After realizing the teaching lifestyle wasn't for me while I was in college, I officially launched my photography business in 2019 just two weeks after earning my Bachelors degree in Visual Art Education. 📸✨

In my studio, boudoir is an experience in which I hold space for you to step outside your comfort zone and be entirely yourself. And it’s the art of capturing that experience in photos so you can see the beauty in your humanity. It’s a celebration of ourselves for ourselves.
