The Details
-
Sessions are held at my private natural light studio inside the historic building at 313 SE 1st St. in downtown Evansville, IN. I shoot boudoir Monday thru Thursday in the studio, and take the occasional Saturday session!
-
My studio is located in Downtown Evansville, IN! For context, we’re about 2 hours west of Louisville, KY, 3 hours south of Indianapolis, and 2.5 hours east of St. Louis, MO!
If you’ll be flying to the studio for your session, the closest airport is Evansville Regional, which is a short 15 minute drive to the studio. If you’re traveling for your session, please send me an email and let me know and I’ll be happy to provide a list of accommodations for your stay here in Southern IN!
-
Because of my schedule, I typically stay pretty close to home. However, I love exploring new locations and I’d love to explore with you — please shoot me a message with more details about what you’re dreaming of so that we can talk about it!
-
The session fee is $399 and is due upon booking to secure your session on my calendar! If you need to split this fee into two separate payments, I’m happy to do that for you – just let me know when you reach out!
-
You can expect to invest anywhere from $1000 to $3000 in your boudoir experience with me – visit the experience page to view the all-inclusive collections I offer!
-
I typically book 4-8 weeks out, and I recommend scheduling your session two to three months before you need photos in your hands! If you’re gifting them for a special occasion, this gives us ample time to choose your favorite photos, design your custom album, and have your entire order to you well before your deadline so neither of us feels rushed!
-
You’ll return to the studio an hour after your session for your image reveal session where we’ll look through your photos together for the first time! We’ll choose your favorites and you’ll have your full order in hand within 6 weeks!
I offer rush service if you need your final images back faster for a small fee.
The Experience
-
I like to talk to every client over the phone before they book with me! I also send over my booking guide that includes info about what to expect, pricing, and more. During our initial phone call I can walk you through the experience and my process, and give you space and time to ask me questions and make sure we’re a good fit for each other.

I do not allow plus ones at the studio! You may think it will make you feel better to have a friend with you, but trust me when I say that having an audience keeps you from opening up and being able to be totally open with the experience. So for that reason, guests aren't allowed during your session — however you're totally welcome to bring a friend to your image reveal session! I just ask that your guest is respectful, supportive, and encouraging!
-
There are SO many options! I send a style guide once you book that will help you decide what to wear! It includes the basics of what to look for and what to avoid, tried and true faves, and my favorite places to shop. We can also talk about wardrobe over the phone before your session! If you want to get some ideas swirling before you book your session, check out this blog post I wrote about what to wear!

You know I'm all for a celebration, however I don't allow alcohol in the studio. I totally understand wanting to relax and ease your nerves, but I strongly believe in being fully present for your session. I promise that once we start shooting you'll relax, and by the end of your session you'll feel like a model and those nerves will be long gone.

I edit thoughtfully and with a light hand. It’s important to me that when you admire your photos, you really see yourself — not a version of you created only for these photos.
I edit minor, temporary skin imperfections — meaning that acne, spots, bruises, scrapes and scratches, big flyaways, and marks from clothing all go. I don’t remove scars, tattoos, or birthmarks unless we have a specific conversation about it, but I will even out light tan lines. (Heavy tan lines can be evened out for an additional fee!) I never remove cellulite or stretch marks.

Boudoir is intimate, and I totally understand that not everyone wants their photos shared online. I respect your privacy and will never share your images without a signed model release. It is entirely your call — I will never ever pressure you to sign a release if you’d rather keep your photos private.

My most recent work is on my Instagram @EleanorElaineBoudoir and that’s where I hang out most of the time. You can also find more of my recent work on the blog!
The Wild Cards
-
I photograph people of all gender identities who want to celebrate themselves and their bodies! I welcome all humans in my studio. If you’ve got a body, boudoir is for you.
-
In my studio, boudoir is an experience in which I hold space for you to step outside your comfort zone and be entirely yourself. And it’s the art of capturing that experience in photos so you can see the beauty in your humanity. It’s a celebration of ourselves for ourselves.

You can ditch the French pronunciation for this one. Super simple — boo-dwar!
