From Photo Shoot to Happy Hour: Where to Eat and Drink in Downtown Evansville After Your Boudoir Session
I absolutely love having my boudoir studio in downtown Evansville for lots of reasons, but mostly because of all the great shops and restaurants nearby.
We’re surrounded by incredible spots to grab a latte and treat yourself to something tasty. Whether you’ve got an hour to kill between your session and same-day image reveal or you’re looking for the perfect place to debrief with your friends during happy hour, downtown Evansville has no shortage of cozy cafés, local restaurants, and laid-back bars. Here are some of my favorite places to eat and drink near the studio:
☕ Penny Lane Coffeehouse
Address: 600 SE 2nd St, Evansville, IN 47713 (within walking distance!)
Why it's special: My most beloved café with cozy little nooks, rotating local artists featured on the walls, vegan pastry options, and a warm, inclusive vibe that feels like the best of our lil community
My order: I always get an iced vanilla lavender matcha latte with oat milk (plus a banana nut muffin if I’m feeling peckish!)

Why it's special: A laid‑back spot known for friendly service, house rules reigning over the jukebox (NO KID ROCK), and budget‑friendly drinks and bar fare in a cozy locals‑favorite atmosphere (and fun fact: it’s the longest running bar in downtown Evansville!)
My order: Thanks to my best friend’s good taste, I’ve been ordering a Tom Collins here since my 21st birthday and it never disappoints
☕ River City Coffee + Goods
Address & Hours: 223 Main St, Evansville, IN 47708
Why it's special: Not only do they have a great coffee bar, but they also have a wide variety of local, handmade goods! And you can pop down the street to their sister store, Memo, for all your stationery needs. I’m a lover of snail mail and they have the cutest greeting cards!
My order: Their horchata latte changed my life–you need it too!
